Question for those of us who have a TAG but didn’t hear yet
Did UCI ask any questions along the way about your TAG?
Because they asked me to clarify one of my classes and I’m wondering if that question (which I answered and they said it was resolved) put me in a different batch and that’s why I’m not getting my TAG decision along with everyone else
Or is it just random bad luck that I haven’t heard???
they reached out to me along with the other colleges because i went from 4 year to community to now transfer to a uc so i needed to send them my transcripts so i wonder

Interesting! Yeah, the details don’t seem to matter-- they asked if I took calculus because it wasn’t on my transcript and I said I’m a math major so I took it in h.s.-- but maybe just asking the question put us in a pile of “TAGs with questions” even though I gave them a satisfactory answer the same day. Maybe TAGs with no questions got their answer on Friday and we’re delayed because we got put into another pile.
Just trying to make sense of why 90% of TAGs found out but a few of us didn’t
yeah it’s definitely weird and has me stressed out but I see no reason my TAG would not be accepted I am higher than the GPA requirement and have all the needed classes taken so it’s very strange
I have a 3.87 GPA when I applied. Did you apply for Psychology B.A or B.S?
I feel like we are okay, I believe we were put in another pile maybe for second wave of tag decisions? Or maybe for regents or scholarship?

Haha same! I’m in the exact same position as you where I went from a UC to a CC and now transferring to a four year! Glad to see I’m not the only one

yeah most people got them last fridays but some did not myself included so i feel like we’ll have to hear with regular applicants on friday
