How hard would it be to transfer to CS from undeclared?
does that mean reject if i not yet got the decision
It feels like if they release like last year
Same here, in-state, CS major. It seems that only acceptances have been given out so far.
Before committing, I would call the CS department and ask if you meet all the requirements to change majors, is it guaranteed. CS is impacted so you may not be able to switch if there are no spots available.
Here is the link for the CS major change and you need to attend UCI at least 1 quarter before initiating the change: Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences
if u havent gotten a decision yet is it a rejection/waitlist
UCI does rolling admissions and usually waitlist and denials will come later in another wave.
I didn’t get decision RIP
oh well rip then
would more acceptances come in the later wave also?
Did you gets get notification emails?
Wait not me getting an email right now. Doesn’t look too good for me
On same day? Another poster said they did it on the same day.
There has been more than 1 wave of acceptances historically. Every year is different.
Does UC Irvine admit to the University or by major? Are there different possibilities with UCI admits?
Didn’t get an email yet. Got accepted 3.9/4.3/4.6
Seems like the portal is crashing for some, may be another wave of decisions coming out soon!
Oh that’s interesting
I can’t even open up my portal HAHA
UCI admits into the University first then into the major so you can be accepted into 1st choice major, alternate major or Undeclared.
