No email. It loaded almost on the dot at 3:30 when I logged into portal. Portal seems to have since crashed as I can’t log back in.
You will login and then it tells you to click on a link that says something like “Status of application”. After you click on link, you are directed to the letter.
UCSD is posting admission decisions.

I got an email notifying me, but check your spam and search for messages from Irvine/admissions.
