UC Irvine Mesa Court Questions!

Hello!
So I am a senior in high school and will most likely be attending UCI next year. I have done my research and I have decided that if I attend UCI I will choose the Mesa Court dorm rooms but I still have some questions!

Here is a little about me:
-business major
-white
-likes to have fun
-girly
-looking for a social hall
-balance between social life and school

So which residence hall would be best for me?
Should I go with general interest or a specific interest hall?
Also which are the newer mesa court halls?

Thank you!!! :)

Bump

Hi there, I’m an undergrad at UCI.

First off, good choice picking Mesa Court. Mesa Court is better than the other freshman community, Middle Earth. Middle earth is antisocial, older, and more cramped. Mesa is a little more social, newer, and the rooms are much more spacious.
Second, the hall you choose isn’t that important. It won’t matter at all.

Understand that UCI is a very quiet school. The social scene is very low key. If you’re the kind of person who likes staying in and playing League of Legends, UCI is a great fit.
If you want to party, you NEED to either 1) be an athlete or 2) go greek.

That being said, I’m in a fraternity at UCI. I go out, party, and drink probably twice a week and I still maintain a 3.9 GPA in engineering…It’s not hard to balance both partying and academics, if you can handle it.

Thank you @UCchemE !!
So i have thought about being in a sorority, but the only problem is I don’t drink so I’m afraid I wont fit in. Dont get me wrong, I like having fun and going to a good party and dont care if others drink, but I just dont so i dont know what to do!!:(

@UCchemE I noticed that Middle Earth has a student gym while browsing the housing website. Does Mesa Court have one? I also saw that the ARC is kind of a walk from campus. Is it inconvenient for Mesa residents to work out and use the ARC?
