UC Irvine or CSUN

I know that Irvine is 1000x better than CSUN

but I'm planning on doing engineering and the I'm worried about GPA

the average engineering GPA in Irvine is a 2.6, and most engineering majors are weeded out because of this

while in CSUN its above 3.0

I understand that GPA plays a vital role in obtaining a good job in engineering

Which would be a better choice for ensuring a job in engineering?

gpa isnt everything. you need decent gpa + experience (internships preferred) + research + KNOWING PPL. seriously, that last one is what ppl seem to forget in their quest for gpa. 3.9 gpa aint worth jack **** to a 3 summers of internships + knowing company reps.

not being rude, but dont fall into the mentality that high gpa = job. plus being well rounded is good for life, not just a job.

Just develop good study habits and you won’t be among those that have a low gpa. Why do you have so little confidence in your abilities?
