Did anyone else get an email for their transfer early start program?
Has anyone ever done it before? Is it better to start in the summer or fall?

I got it but i dont intend on attending Irvine… lol

I got it too, but i dont plan to attend UCI.
Summer school will be a smart option cos it saves a lot of $$

i didnt get this email…

Do other schools offer this, UCLA maybe?

Yeah I got this email this morning as welll…I will definitely be attending IF I dont get into USC/UCLA/Cal, because then I will be going to UCI

I got it too, but I am still waiting for SD…

I also received that email today, but I don’t plan on going to UCI either. Even if I did, I don’t think I would do the program. I’d rather do the regular summer session and try to network/meet people on my own before school start in the fall, I think it’s better that way.

Yep, I got the email. I don’t really want to go to UCI, but I may have to for financial reasons. I’m planning on going to Alaska this summer (late August), so I’ll have to check the schedule.

were all of u accepted already when u got this?

^ I was.

10charmader

yes of course… I believe they only sent it to people who were accepted?? someone correct me if I’m wrong

I had a friend call me and ask if she should consider it. I looked into and it seems just like regular summer school (but with added social events). Am I wrong?

Here at Berkeley we have the same thing is called like a transfer summer session, but it’s just regular summer school. The only difference is they put new students together if they are living on campus for summer

I got this on April 9th as well.

Thanks for all the information. UCI is my third choice, but I’m getting more FA from UCSD, and that’s just weird…(UCSD is my second choice) but it seems like a good opportunity!
