UC Irvine versus UCLA (yes I'm being serious)

Ok so I'm in @ UC Irvine for Biomedical Engineering

I'm waiting on UCLA, but if/WHEN I get in, it'll be for Biological Science

I want to go to dental school.

Should I go to UCLA as a Bio major, or UC Irvine for Biomedical Engineering?

I've always wanted to do engineering.....

Is it EXTREMELY hard to transfer into Biomedical Engineering at UCLA?

go to UCI..UCLA is huge and you'll probably treated as a number rather than a student.

You've always wanted to do engineering and now that you're in at a BME program at a good school, don't risk it.

Biological Science (Biology) is different from BME and if Math/Physics are your calling, go for it at UCI. Heck, you might be happier at Irvine than in Los Angeles.

My roommate has been accepted to harvard, john hopkins, etc for a phd in some biological specialty or biology, dont remember. He applied to UCI, but not UCLA and claims that UCI has one of the best bio programs in the country, UCLA does not. Why..i do not know as i am not into biology, but something to think about since he has been researching this crap for the last couple years.
