Hi I got wait listed for UC Irvine, and I was wondering what my chances are this year for being accepted off the wait list? A lot of sites recommended to send in an appeal to improve my chances, but I don’t know if that will positively affect me or negatively affect me. 
I got waitlisted too but some people tell me that you can’t appeal and others say you can while on the waitlist so I’m not even sure about that…
UCI will let you appeal while you are on the waitlist.
