<p>I took sign language for 3 years in middle school though I took french in high school. Should I report taking sign language in the 7-8th grade section? The UCs say to only list languages under the a-g approved list.</p>
<p>Generally they don’t look at things done in middle school; they’re only interested in high school. If you want to, you can, but I don’t think they’ll really take it into consideration because you didn’t take it in high school.</p>
<p>you could briefly mention it in your personal statement if it can be related to your essay. It is a skill which you have gain after all.</p>
<p>I ended up putting it there anyway, it can’t hurt and they can ignore it if they want to. Thanks guys :)</p>
