Hi everyone, I'm getting some conflicting answers to my question so I thought I would pose it on CC and hopefully come to some consensus.

Background: I completed all of my IGETC requirements at my JC with the exception of my two years of language, which I did in high school. I managed to earn a 4.0 at my JC but I received a "B" in Spanish 1 and a "C" in Spanish 2 when I took them during high school. Though there is a substantial gap between the years I went to high school and my time at my JC.

Question 1: How will my high school Spanish grades impact my UC GPA vis-a-vis admissions?

Question 2: How will my high school Spanish grade be viewed by the Regent and Chancellor's scholarship committees?

Thanks in advance for answering my queries.

God bless to all those who have and will apply to the UCs. This is has been a challenging, yet rewarding (so far) experience thus far.
