So I'm applying...but I'm not sure what I want to major in. Only UC Berkeley offers engineering undeclared. I know that I'm leaning towards engineering, but I don't know which! Is it better for me to apply as undeclared? I know I will have freedom to change my major, but I've heard stories about people being denied a major change. Help!

Also, none of the majors have undeclared? All the undeclareds have something next to them like physical science, etc...

If you have a true interest in Engineering apply there. I beleive it is easier to transfer out of Engineering than it is to transfer in. Otherwise, or if your not sure, I'd say apply Undeclared. Most campuses don't admit by major outside of Engineering and performance majors anyway (except Berkeley and LA I think). Good luck!

Thanks!

Another question: if i want to go engineering but dunno which, what undec shud i mark? undeclared physical science??
