Can anyone rank the UCs in terms of the strength of their mechanical engineering programs?

UCB

UCLA

UCSD

UCSB

Don't know the rest, but I'd wager that UCI/UCD are the next two and UCSC/UCR are the worst.

Overall Engineering:
1.UC Berkeley
2. UCSD
3. UCLA

Mechanical:
UC Berkeley >>> UCSD UCLA

UCSC doesn't have a Mech Engineering program, they push you to UCB

Hmm... yes I know that UCB, UCLA, UCSD have the best ones.

However does anyone know how good the mechanical engineering programs at UCD, UCI, and UCSB are compared to each other?

Engineering ranks higher in UCSB compared to UCI and UCD. My friend also told me that when he did EE at UCI it's more on theory while the undergrad classes he TA's on here at UCSB have lots of labs and hands on.
