<p>Merced is like a private school now. Professors you can talk to. I have very high SAT scores and I was not sure if I would ever attend UC Merced Because of special circumstance I could come back to Cal as a resident Did not have ELC as I went to school elsewhere (Private school) Because of the ELC 200 points I did not get into Berkeley Ect. UC Merced will allow me to go into engineering right away so I am excited for that. A Professor friend ( Harvey Mudd) of my Dads says Merced will be very high in ranking in Engineering soon.He does research for all rankings for the engineering schools. I only had 70 in my Grad class so I am happy about Merced Hope that you all LOVE your big schools.
I may go yo grad school at Merced as well.</p>
<p>I visited Merced yesterday and fell in love with it. ^Engious I also think that Merced will become a strong Engineering school. The course list, “learn by doing approach”, undergrad research opportunities, up to date labs, and green tech emphasis is an advantageg for such a young school. </p>
<p>I got accepted into ME and I’m definately thinking of attending UCM. I find it exciting and motivating to think that I can be part of its growth. </p>
