I'm waitlisted at UC Davis and I accepted the admission offer for UC Merced. UC Davis posts their waitlist decisions after May 1st...
Do I still have to submit my SIR for UC Merced by May 1st? Or do I get an extended deadline?</p>

<p>You need to send in your SIR by May 1st to a college, you might even need to do the housing contract. If you do get accepted to UC Davis you may cancel the SIR for Merced but you will lose the 100 dollars it cost. There is no extended deadline. Also wait-list comes out some time between May 1 and June 1 so I wouldn’t count on it coming right on May 1 and hoping to make a decision then. I also got wait-listed to UC Davis, accepted the offer as well.

<p>Yeah same here, FutureEEMajor is correct, you must accept the SiR for Merced ad if Davis takes you, the deposit is forfeited.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what day they are sending out fall or spring term decision for provisionally admitted students? I’m dying to know, late april isn’t specific enough for me.</p>
<p>Called yesterday with a few questions. They expect to release them on the 26th. I also asked if most applicants were going to be placed in either the Fall or Spring semester, and the person said more than likely Fall. Hope this helps!</p>
