<p>I was admitted to UCD,UCSB,UCSD, and UOP. I’m leaning to SD, but I’m not sure about moving away and all. did any of you go to a CC even if you were admitted to UC schools? regret it?

<p>Well, this might not help much but since no one is answering...
I'm a junior but I have several senior friends this year that got into UCs and a few other schools. They are going to our local community college and they are some of the brightest students I know. Money is tight and I know one of them who was almost overqualified for UCLA didn't get in, so she is going to a cc and doing TAG (which UCLA doesn't honor but has a 85% acceptance rate for from our cc). I mean I wasn't the adcom that read her app but most people were shocked. She isn't the first senior to do this. In the end, it's where you graduate from that is going to be on that diploma and resume.</p>
<p>i know a few people who were accepted to UCD,SB, I ,R, and SD but chose CC because of financial reasons</p>
