<p>I have applied to UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCD, SDSU, and Purdue. I have lived in California all my life. I am able to qualify for in-state at Purdue since my dad owns a house in Indiana. I just want to know how the life is at the UCs compared to Purdue. I would also like to know how Purdue’s Study Abroad program and East Asian Studies major (Chinese) compares to the UC’s. Also, is a car necessary in college? I don’t party btw and I would only work if I had a car, so if I don’t then obviously I would not work since I would not be able to get to work… heh. How are the dorms at Purdue compared to the UCs and also how about the people? I have been to Indiana before, last summer, and the weather was awful…</p>
