<p>Would anyone be willing to read my current draft of the UC statements? I have drafted them a few times and am fairly happy with them. Commentary on if I sound at all pretentious on prompt 1 or if my hook is too drastic on prompt 2 would be appreciated. </p>

<p>I am also looking to adapt Prompt #1 to the CommonApp, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do so? Is it frowned upon to use the UC statements as the "other topic" part of CommonApp? I feel as though having a few more words with CommonApp would really allow me to round the essay out, I feel as though the end may be too sudden with my UC draft.</p>

<p>At any rate, any feedback would be welcome.</p>
