Anyone want to read my UC personal statements SUPER last minute?
I would really appreciate it. My parents can only be so much help. haha.
My second prompt is also being used for my USC essay, btw.

Heh, this isn't really SUPER last minute. I haven't started either of my essays yet. :)

I'd read yours, but I really have to focus on writing my own. Sorry. ^_^

Well, it's last minute enough, especially when your parents keep bugging you to finish!
If you have to work on your own, I won't bug you with mine.

I'll read. :)
Just PM me.

Okay, I have just realized how risky it is to send my essay to someone else who's applying to a UC.

So hey, parents and college students, read up! Class of '09...I'm afraid of you. 0_o

It's good to be intimidating. ^_^

But really, though, as long as an 09'er has a large post count here, you can probably safely assume that he or she takes his or her education seriously enough to know better than to submit a stolen essay to the same people who will be reading the essay that was stolen. o.O

That's why I'm not sending my essay to "LadyJester" up there with 7 posts.
But I guess with that logic, I am incredibly threatening. :]]

It’s good for you to be suspicious. I realize I don’t have a large post count, LOL. Partly because I never have time to go on CC. And when I DO go on, I lurk. I already wrote my essay (just need it proofread!) and it’s very specific to me. Plus, I would never plagiarize someone else’s hard work. That’s just…dumb. Haha. You should send your essay to one of people on the Consolidated List of Essay Readers thread. Those people have already graduated and aren't applying to any UCs right now.

I'm an 09'er and I'll read yours.

I can read it but I'm 09'er so I can understand if you do not wish to send it.
Good luck! ^^
