UC: potential to contribute.

<p>If i talked about an experience for this essay, do i explicitly have to say how it will help me to contribute to the vitality of the UC's? i dont exactly how it increases vitality. i just wrote about a profound experience i had and how i learned so much.</p>

<p>also, when they look for talents, do they focus on the essay or EC list? because i have a huge dance thing i do but i never mentioned it in my essays, i just listed it in the EC's</p>

<p>Everyone I've heard from says that with UCs, you need to be direct and straightforward. so yeah, you should explicitly say it, IMO. </p>

<p>I don't know about which section they focus on, but it makes sense that the ECs you pick to write about in essays will definitely be emphasized as the most important.</p>
