<p>Is the UC prompt the same every single year? And the same for every single UC school, too?
So if I started working on my personal statement right now it would be okay?
And if you wrote an essay for a UC school, would you mind posting on here please?

<p>someone just posted that they were told the prompt will be the same next year, although I got the impression on tours that the schools themselves hated it and had to keep saying ‘please write about YOU not about your families!’ but the application is supposed to come out in August this year, to start work, even though it still can’t be submitted until November. </p>
<p>And it is the same prompt for all UCs.</p>
<p>The prompts are the same every year. Btw, to write a successful personal statement, be as original as possible. Don’t look at anyone else’s and write it about YOU. Be real.</p>
