Hey guys,
Today was the last day of the first semester for my senior year.
I had question more specifically for the UC schools. Will getting a B vs. an A in calculus affect my admissions at all? I am .28% away from an A but I doubt my teacher will let me raise to an A.
I am aware that the UC schools do not require a mid-year report, so does this mean that my B vs. an A would not really play a role in my admissions chances?
Thank you I am very depressed over how close I am to earning that A.
I don’t think they require mid year reports for admission. When you’re admitted and you commit to a campus then that’s when you send your final transcripts. What campus?
No D’s or F’s. Provisional acceptance requires a 3.0 weighted GPA for Senior year except UCLA/UCB want a 3.0 unweighted GPA. If the UC’s did not send you a supplemental questionnaire asking for Mid-year grades, then you are fine. Senior grades will only make a difference in admissions if you do not meet the provisional acceptance requirements.
