hey guys, sorry for asking such a simple question, but i looked around for quite a while and couldnt find a definite answer.
i got accepted to ucsb but my senior 2nd semester grades are borderline 3.0w atm. i had a 3.75w first semester. Does uc’s(except ucb and ucla) require that each semester of senior year be atleast 3.0w or all of senior year combined be 3.0w? thank guys, im doing my best to raise my grades.
My gut tells me that it’s semester by semester, but my gut isn’t really a reliable source. Call the UCSB admissions office and ask.
The general rule of thumb is no Ds, Fs, fraud, or felonies and you’ll be fine, but multiple Cs aren’t desirable if you’re not usually a C studen .
Many UCs specify explicit GPA thresholds as well as no D or F grades in their conditions. These are often 3.0.
Ok, here are UCSB’s conditions of admission: http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/freshman-conditions
