UC Report Change Effects Admission?

When you report a change to the UC admissions, does it effect whether or not you will be accepted??

well depends on what it is…this is a really vague question

Like for the spring section I put no classes to report because I thought “Planned” met classes I registered for, and my registration date wasn’t until December 2nd. I indicated that in the comment box though. I called the admissions office and they said I can wait for the January update or just report it. I was just curious if I do report the change if it would effect my acceptance?

No why would it?

well you have to report it no matter if it effects your admission or not. And since ur actually COMPLETING Your app since it is technically unfinished, it can obviously only help you get accepted.

I’ve been confused because the admissions office also said I can just wait for the January update. Do they look at your application before or after the update in Janauary?

Thanks for your help!

they do not look at your application before the January update. so chill

did you have to include the planned courses for next spring? the application never asked me, so i didnt. i dont think you had to becuase you will report them in jan.

oh you could have included your spring courses but that was not set in stone anyways

I wonder if anybody could answer my question since it is related to this thread:

so I have no certainty what classes I am going to take in the Spring. I am planning to take classes at a different community college and it could be possible that I am going take all my UC transferable class at this particular college than the one I been attending for the last 2 and a half years. Therefore, will the UCs that I applied deny me admission since I am not taking classes from the college I told tham I was going to take it at?

That’s exactly what I thought too! But I’ve been getting so many different answers from the admissions office and everyone else! haha Because without inputing my spring courses I only have 52 out of the 60 units we need! We should be okay though right?!

What did you end up putting for the spring courses/grades section?

Hey I’m a new member of college confidential, and I got a question about the UC schools.

If I took two sat subject tests, but one of them cannot be counted, math 1, can i still get into the uc school im applying to. Plus I am not able to take anymore subject tests because I have been taking the SAT reasoning test.

Im thinking I am still going to send the two subject tests, but Im worried that I might not get in because one of them is not a subject test that they accept.

^ yeah this is not freshman admissions but transfer

sorry about that, like I said before new lol
