UC Requirements!***

Hello,

It seems like I am meeting UC's F) Visual and performing arts requirement.(I only have one art class that I will be taking second semester of my senior year.)

Is it possible to have the requirement fulfilled AFTER submitting the application by taking art- related AP second semester? or do I need to have the requirement fulfilled before I submit?

Thank you..

You need one full year of the visual and performing arts requirement. I’m not sure how your going to fulfill it with just one semester of art.

So what I’m asking is if I would be able to fill that requirement by taking AP art next semester (that is after the deadline and decisions come out).

You may want to ask UC if getting a 3 or higher on AP Art History, Studio Art, or Music Theory at the end of your senior year can be used to fulfill the art subject requirement:

You may also want to check to see if your are eligible by exam:
[University of California - Admission by exam](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/requirements/examination/index.html)

As noted you cannot meet art requirement by only one semester of art even if it is AP but can meet it by taking applicable AP exam and scoring 3 or higher. That can be an exam taken at end of senior year. When you apply you need 11 of the required 15 year long designated college prep courses and thus as long as you have 11 at end of junior year not including art, you can apply and be accepted but then will need to complete all requirements before beginning college and if you do not your admission will be withdrawn.
