I might have failed one or two courses this semester(spring). I had health issues that came in the way of me attending class, so the end of my semester did not go well. I may fail Calc II and my beginning CS course. I'm afraid my acceptance will be rescinded. At Davis, I am a CS major but at SB I am a Philosophy major. I feel like SB will be more understanding because these classes were not prereqs for Phil. Help?

Best thing to do is call them and explain. Davis might not work out since those are classes for your major

gosh, I don’t know what to say about you people who willingly or unwillingly take hard courses your last semester, jeopardizing your admissions. I understand people have hardships or health issues, but sometimes you just have to savage it out and pass those courses, if not, there are consequences, such as getting their admissions rescinded.

to answer your question, you would probably get your admissions rescinded at both colleges because your spring semester gpa would be under a 2.00 and/or your cumulative gpa may dip under a 3.00 if your are on the borderline and the college requests that you keep a cum gpa of 3.00

my recommendation is for you to stay another year a community college so you would really think about what major you want. CS and philosophy major??? are you kidding me? you’re letting admissions from these colleges decide what you’re future career would be? wise up and choose a career path whether it’s the college of your choice or not. it’s major that you need to pursue…
