UC rescinding acceptances

First semester was a major slack off...mainly cause i didnt feel like doing homework...

AP Bio- B
Spanish 3-B
AP Gov/Econ-C
AP Cal AB-C
AP PhysicsC-C
English 4-D

anywayzzz if i pull of straight A's spring semester which i can easily, will that balance out? BTW my AP Bio and Cal grades could go up one letter grade depending on my AP scores.....

any advice would be appreciated

that D could get you rescinded.

You're in trouble because the cutoff is like a 3.0 (for some uc's).

you're supposed to maintain the GPA that you submitted as your high school GPA.

i gotta talk to the counselor bout it....im kinda scared to go see her, cause im one of her top students.. hopefully i can retake it or sumthing.

i would say taht ur on thin ice right now cuz for most ucs, a D means that u can get rescinded but if u talk to the college and explain ur situation, then maybe they'll work it out

i'm sort of familiar with this becasue i had a classmate who receieved a D in an AP course and UCLA gave him an interview and allowed him to explain his situation, however, his GPA was pretty high with the exception of one class (i think he had mostly A's and B's first semester senior year)

You don't have to maintain your GPA, that's a myth, they just want that. You have to get a 3.0 GPA UW. Apparently this is not the case. Talk to your counselor IMMEDIATELY.

thanks for ur help talking to the counselor first thing... on monday

You will need to make up that English class you got a D in to meet the UC entrance requirements as you need four years of English and they do not count D as a passing grade.

out of curiosity which uc's ar eyou talking about here

I applied to
