@Joychristiana My half-brother and his family have lived out there for a while. They told me everyone exaggerates the crime. Obviously there are good and bad parts of town, but they said the areas around the campus tend to be fine. I’m living in Sterling. I’ve heard scary things about the street it’s on, but I’ve been on it a few times at night and it seemed okay.
@Joychristiana @kristyalene I live in a city by riverside and everyone raves about how nice and safe it is compared to mine, every city has its crime but overall it’s much better than others around here
Does anyone know the average monthly rent on or off campus for a 1 bedroom? Also, my fiance’s family lives about an hour away from UCR in Orange county, does anyone know if it’s realistic to live that far from UCR and commute?

GPA sucks. I’ll be the first to admit I am plain lazy sometimes. If I could do it all over again I would have the study habits I have this semester vs my study habits in high school and the last 8 years!
