I almost didn’t apply to UCR, but I’m really glad I did (backup school)! It was great hearing back from them back so soon and receiving a Regents scholarship, which is quite generous and much appreciated! I highly encourage you all to apply, as it is an up-and-coming school, and if you get accepted, go to their Discover Day / Highlander Day if you can! I winged it and just went, and I was very surprised with their lively, pretty campus and awesome tours. They made me feel very welcome there, and it totally changed my mind about them. Don’t underestimate UCR! Go Highlanders!

GOOD LUCK!!!

D got accepted into UCR for Business Administration in February. She got $5000 per year scholarship
She got accepted into UCI on friday as undeclared.
She also got accepted into University of Indian, Bloomington. She got $10,000 scholarship per year. She also got direct admit into Kelley school of Business and into their honors program.
Confused as to where we should send her. We live in California. Indiana looks really promising but too far and is cold during winter.
Any thoughts on what to do?

^ & ^^ Congrats!!

@Twacthaboss I got an email with “Congratulations!” in the subject line, which kind of gave it away. I’m not sure if they send out emails for rejections, though. My friend got rejected and she said she had to check her portal to find out, but that was weeks ago, so I don’t think they’ll wait until the very last minute to release the rejection batches. cough Irvine cough I would just keep checking your email and portal everyday (since there might be a lag). It does seem like they’re still releasing acceptance letters, so don’t give up hope just yet!

@kuurei when did you find out u got accepted?

@wacthaboss Erm… back in January. Sorry, I wish I could say it was more recent.
