General Comments: I’m sincerely hoping that I can get into UCR. And good luck to anybody who is in the waitlist.

I’m too lazy to do the format sorry lol. But as for me I got accepted into UCR a couple weeks ago for agricultural of sciences? Lol I chose a random major. 1400 SAT score (530 CR, 410 M, 460 W) & UC GPA 3.91. Only UC I got into (well I only applied to 3) until I got accepted UCI last week which I’ll be attending. Anddd it seems like a good school I got an email to sign up for their honors program & to sign up for one of their scholarships. The school seems really nice, as in the faculty really cares about their students. Good luck to everyone going!

Got waitlisted with
UC GPA: 3.14
SAT I: 1450 (CR 470 M 520 W 450)
ACT 20
Major: Biochemistry

I was accepted to UCR!
Biology major
Gpa: 3.7
Sat:1400

lots of community service hours, made up for my bad stats

Should I go to Ucr full tuition paid or UCLA where I have to pay 9k

@pleaseacceptme99 UCLA will not cover your tuition? So you would have to pay for tuition AND housing?

@dgrenas793 UC riverside is covering all costs. UCLA is covering everything except 9,000 dollars which I would have to pay or get as a loan

@pleaseacceptme99 in MY opinion, I would go with whatever requires you to take out the least amount of loans. Think about it, 9000/yr in loans, x4 years = 36,000 in debt by the time you graduate. I just hear too many horror stories about student debt. I don’t think it should be taken lightly. But then again. That’s just my opinion

Late post but I wanted to help give some insight to future applicants

Hey guys, do you know what the difference is between housing and dorms? Or are they both the same?? Like are Aberdeen-Inverness, Lothian, and Pentland Hills campus owned apartments or are they the dorms? It’s a dumb question but I need clarification lol

Aberdeen-Inverness, Lothian and Pentland Hills are known as Residence Halls (aka. Dorms).
