I just checced my UCR today and..
Congratulations!! You have been admitted to the major of Business Economics in the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences for the Fall 2008 term

3.78 gpa
igetc / pre-reqs done
TAP certified although it doesnt apply to UCR

Congratulations, but with your stats good chances at much better schools. I'd probably be representing everyone on CC when I say that UCR is our last choice, like backup backup backup school.

lol i've already been admitted to UCSD and UCI as well..

its just that i didnt see any other threads regarding UCR and wanted to start one..

and you guys are too obsessed with UCLA and UCB its pretty dumb, anyway i hope you guys get into UCLA and then you can have fun getting owned by the intellectual heavyweights

Congrats disengage!
I just got accepted to UCR as a business administration major also. Anyone know if I'm going to get an actual letter from them? I'm REALLY hoping I get into some more competitive schools though. I have a 4.0 gpa, all pre-reqs done, tons of ECs, President of student business club etc. I'm praying UCB, USC, Georgetown and a few others will reward me with an acceptance. I'll be darned if UCR is my only acceptance!

Yeah UCR is already on my "in for sure" back up school.

This is the first time I hear anyone mention UCR besides UCR being known as the school people go to after they get rejected from every other UC.

going east coast is out of the question
if u say UCI u obviously haven't realised they DON'T have 1 YET so get ur facts straight
applied to USC but thats the 2nd line of defense, this year it probably got harder

have u even checked the course requirement of pepperdine?
2 courses of bible study?
i m not into christian colleges, sorry

want me to mention more? cornell requires a SECOND SEMESTER of biology. and a few other courses.
others require you to retake the SATs.
