UC Riverside Freshman Class of 2026 Discussion

Try the Michigan thread or the Berkeley enrollment thread. There are no slow days there.

yeah the portal astrology has been disproven many times.
Don’t do it and it is just a few weeks for results to be out.

Portal Astrolgy is what alleviates the stress for me!! Reading up on last year’s threads makes for some interesting reading and gives an idea of how this year’s threads will become the longer this takes!

That said, who all have a “Major Change” tab on their portal?

me! What does that mean?

Absolutely nothing, unless someone doesn’t have it! According to last year’s thread, this meant waitlist. But it could very well be that everyone not admitted in the first round had it, and so everyone waitlisted would have definitely had it. So we’ll know if/when someone who doesn’t have it posts.

Has UCR sent out another wave of admissions yet? I only saw posts about admissions on March 2nd.

Are Regents scholarships need-based? When does UCR plan to send those out if selected? Are you notified of any scholarships upon receiving the financial aid package?

Regents sent out with letter

The selection of Regents scholars is merit based but the amount awarded can vary based on need.

The Regents Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship awarded to incoming UCR freshmen. Students are selected based on a review of the academic record by the faculty Committee on Scholarships and Honors. New Regents Scholars are notified of the award at the time of admission. Regents Scholarships will be awarded to students for up to four years if all renewal criteria are met.

Did anyone else get the UC Riverside honors program application invite?
