I was accepted back in February, but my girlfriend had a pending application for 2 and a half months.
Then they just rejected her today, which is completely disappointing, but i’m more mad about the fact that they took OVER 2 MONTHS to post it.
Seriously, why cause so much distress and anxiety if you end up rejecting them? That is very cruel.
@jamsshoo how did she find out? Bus email or portal?
Portal i’m sure, I got my acceptance by portal and the email came 3 days after

Rejected to UCI. Got accepted to UCR back in Jan-Feb. So I’ll see you guys at UCR
Most likely her SAT score. Either way, the UC system seems more and more random now.
In the coming years, I bet there will be a shift back to more privates. So far, LMU, USF, and UoR have accepted me despite my stats being way under the average. It’s just too bad they’re so expensive

UCR’s portal is being strangely slow. I can feel the wave coming. I’m predicting tomorrow morning or evening.
UCR is my last shot at a UC. But the fact that most people were already sent acceptances months back, I’m losing hope. lol.
