So today I received an email from UCR asking me to join their highlander day but I’m not even accepted yet 
yeah I think everyones getting that, sigh, hope I get in. I wish they’d just tell us. Strongly feel like we got waitlisted though

Guys I also got that email but in the email the orientation’s date is on April18th. When I checked the freshman orientation in the UCR website, all the official dates are in the summer 2015! Also, the April 18th registration form asks about your interested major! Keep in mind that this email cannot prove anything!
Im not sure if there is any correlation guys, but i received that email on March 3 and i was admitted mid january. Hopefully it means that you will all be admitted. :-bd

According to the past 2 years, tomorrow is waitlist day. We’ve all come far and you can expect a waitlist. I’m ready, sad, but ready.
but isnt waitlist better than being rejected or is about the same?
its hard to get off the waitlist at least. I mean yes its better than rejection but its best to assume that you’ll be going to your second choice school and to SIR there.

Finally got a reply from them… Waitlisted… I don’t know how to feel but honestly, some of the stress and tension has been put off my shoulder for a bit.
