@turqluv on november 28, two days before the due date hahaha
I don’t think I’m accepted. I haven’t gotten the email and I applied at the same role as you D:
Time I meant
@turqluv don’t lose faith! Apparently,UCR is still sending out acceptances throughout March. Good luck
Thanks. I’m just so worried. March I’d either going to be the best month of my life or worst month of my life
me too haven’t got mine yet
Im afraid I wont even get in. I got rejected from CSUF
What are your stats @Brotherbear ?
Did you get the Highlander Day email from ucr?
I did. But I’m not accepted yet so I don’t see that point.
@turqluv ikr? I got it too but if im not accepted yet whats the point? XD im just gonna go to the one in SDSU next Sunday because I got accepted there and I know its a good uni but still waiting for UCR
@WinnieH If you got accepted to SDSU your definitely getting in! Congratulations! Where else did you apply?
Still haven’t heard back from any UCs (Riverside, Merced, Santa Cruz, Irvine, Santa Barbara) and I didn’t apply to any CalStates lol, should I just assume a rejection from UCR or just keep waiting?
@UFeelMe: Until you get an official rejection, just keep hoping for the best. Hopefully you will have some good news by the end of March with the other UC’s.
@turqluv I’ve applied to UCR, UCI, SDSU and Palomar college (well cuz my mom wants me to just in case she can’t afford to pay the uni tution) what about you? btw if I applied to Palomar, is it necessary to apply to another cc? @gumbymom
You only need to apply to 1 CC unless there are Pre-req classes not offerred at Palomar that you may need to transfer. It is not unusual for students to attend more than 1 CC to get their classes.
DD was accepted on Jan. 16 in Creative writing. She had a 3.22 (W )GPA and a 29 on her ACT (34 on English section)
Right now she’s waiting to hear from other UC’s - UCSB, UCI, UCD and UCSC.
I thought all the UCs released decisions at one time, not rolling decisions as some schools do. I’m confused because on my portal for UCR and other UCs, it says that decisions will be released on March 15th and it is ordered by the first letter of your last name. Can anyone comment on the decision process?
UCR does early acceptances for High Stat applicants in January/February. They will slowly roll out more acceptances through March. UCI accepts High Stat applicants Mid-February and will roll out more through March.
UCD/UCB/UCLA/UCSD will send out all acceptances/waitlist/denials on the same day. UCSC sends out all acceptances in alphabetical order starting at Midnight on Decision day. See link for the dates:
Thanks for the clarification @Gumbymom
