Thanks I guess when the time comes I’ll find out. I feel like I’m stronger in my extracurriculars but I’m still worried. Hopefully this month will go by quickly :-*

@spat77 and @UFeelMe: Unless you have received an official rejection, you are still in the running. Due to budget issues, the UC’s are taking longer for decisions and are waitlisting many applicants until the budget is approved. No news is good news, so hang in there. Decisions could go through April and I uderstand this uncertainty. Good Luck.
@Gumbymom I guess that’s true, do you know how hopeful I should stay seeing as I didn’t get into Santa Cruz? Or are the UC’s just a crap shoot
@UFeelMe: Since you did not get an acceptance at UCSC, does not mean you will not get an acceptance at UCR. Many times UC admissions are a crapshoot. There is one poster on the UCD decision thread that was rejected from UCD but was accepted at Cal Tech. Go figure…
@Gumbymom I have been reject to UCSD, UCD, UCSC and CalPoly. Only got into UCM and SJSU so far…what are my chances for UCLA, UCB, UCR and UCI…I am really anxious right now…I know my gpa is low but i think my ps was good and a lot of ec’s…what should i expect??
@spat77 in all honesty, none of us have any idea, chance mes are practically useless. Since the UCs review holistically they admit all different types of ways. U can get rejected from every single UC and get into Cal or UCLA. All you can do is wait to see the actual descision, which causes more anxiety.
oh alright… i still have some hope so lets hope for the best
@Spat77: I checked your posted Stats and I stated your best chance would be UCR or UCM for the UC’s. SJSU is an excellent choice and a very sought after school for CS majors. Other than the above listed UC’s, did you apply to any other Cal states?? You still have 2 good choices and hopefully UCR will come through for you. Good Luck.
