UC Riverside or University of the Pacific?

Hi! I'm torn between choosing UOP or UCR. Both seem to be great schools and have offered me great financial aid, but I just can't make a decision. Some things I've been thinking about are: UOP is small, so I'm thinking I can receive more help from professors if I need to and get the classes I need, but UCR is a UC, so I'm wondering if a UC education would be better.

Also, although both are located in not so nice cities, which of the two cities has more benefits (in terms of internships, jobs, and social life)? Stockton or Riverside? If it helps, I'm planning to major in psychology and my goal (at least for now) is to get a masters in speech-language pathology. I know UOP has a speech-language pathology program and that it would be an obvious choice if I want to do SLP, but I'm not 100% sure I'm going to stick with that in the future. However, I know for sure I want to do psych.

Any extra input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you find the intimate environment appealing, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to UOP. You will certainly get more personalize attention.

UOP also has the prettiest campus I’ve ever seen and a 4 year graduation guarantee. What’s not to love?
