Question: My friend cannot find her Perm Pin to login to Growl? Does anyone know where this number could be located?

Orrrrr are financial aid estimates not available for those that do not submit a SIR?

The perm pin is under my ids or something in myucr. Its the tab next to my documents i think.

No, they give you your financial aid package after you are accepted because they know that money is a large factor in people’s college decisions. I SIRed to ucr but i got accepted to ucsc this weekend and they already showed me my package there.

got a big poster from bourns college of engineering inside a big tube!!!

Lol me too… the postage was $2… what a waste of money and paper -_-

I thought the something… I have no place to keep it even

I know it’s so huge… bah i’m probably just going to roll it back up and put it in my dresser drawer, and pull it out in three years and reminisce about this stressful time… i feel bad throwing it away -_-

Rejected from Riverside, not sure on the date since it’s the first time I’ve checked in awhile.
Major: chemistry

Probably missing prereqs?

^ Definitely. Or you’re missing a university requirement (year of english, 60 transferrable units, etc.

Finally got accepted today!

All pre-reqs are done.

Anyone gotten the financial aid estimate yet?

Nooooo agh I want to know already. I got my aid package from ucsc the day after they accepted me… I wish ucr would hurry up :p

Anyone still waiting for a decision? My stats aren’t the greatest and I still haven’t gotten anything yet except an email on 3/18 asking for my unofficial transcripts.

we can finally click on the 2013-2014 tab for the award status tab on GROWL. but there’s still no award package posted…well at least for me.
hopefully this is an indication that FA packages will be coming super soon! (even though they previously said by late march -___-)

I still can’t click on 2013-2014…grr(owl). ha. ha

ok i’ll stop now

I can click on Application status for 2013-2104, but i can’t for Award Status 2013-2014 :(

that’s weird. because I can click on 2013-2014 for both 0__o

@vokayo

GPA- 3.28
Major- Creative Writing
Prereqs- Already have my Associates degree & have completed the CSU breadth requirements. Not sure about major requirements, but to my knowledge there wasn’t any.
Status- Still haven’t heard a word. They asked me to send an unofficial transcript from one of my schools back in February, which I did immediately & they confirmed receiving it. The stress of not knowing and checking the portal like 5 times a day for the last month & a half has been the worst. I’m starting to feel pretty negative about it. :/

Don’t be negative! Seriously, don’t. The UCs are notoriously unpredictable and anything can happen at this point. My counselor was trying to discourage me from applying this year because he didn’t think that any UCs would accept me with my GPA, but I got in to 2 so far. Don’t be discouraged just because you haven’t heard back yet, there are still three whole weeks to go.

From the award status box for 2013-2014

"No financial aid award information currently exists for you for the 2013-2014 award year. Your financial aid application is complete, and your eligibility is being calculated at this at this time. Please note that you must be admitted as a regular student or have an open matriculation for the 2013-2014 award year before a financial aid offer can be made to you. Please check back at this site at a later date.
