Yeeep i got mine too… freaking gave me half of what UCSC gave me… -_- whatever money is money haha

How do grants work? I saw somewhere that you can’t get schools grants + pell grants??? I have no clue. Maybe I’ll call the school tomorrow.

I got my aid!!!

Did anyone get work/study for UCR? They gave me $650 less than UCSC, but $2950 less if you count the lack of work/study on the quote.

I got $1500 for UCR work study and $2300 for UCSC.

I was not offered any work study, probably because the amount offered in grants and scholarships already covers everything other than room and board (totals approx. $17469, offered $19937 in grants/scholarships).

I was offered work study, but that’s not something I’m looking for. 2 kids plus full-time school is enough work and study for me ;)

Yeah, UCSC offered me 2300 in work study, but UCR offered me 0… don’t know why…? They gave me some Chancellor’s Transfer Scholarship though.

I got almost $20k with all grants

i got mine today too, i got almost $20,000 grants. Pell grant 5645, cal grant 12,000, UCR grant 1,100 ,Chancellor’s Transfer Scholarship 1,000.i didnt get any work study!:(

wait. I didn’t get a cal grant?
but I got a $16,000 UCR grant…
also a 3,000 pell grant
and a 1,000 chancellor scholarship.

Uh, the UCR Grant only gave me 250 bucks. Boo, Riverside.

My totals are… UCR: $19087, UCSC: $22037. In case anyone wanted to compare.
