UC Riverside Transfer Decisions 2013

@anamelie I also applied as a Creative Writing major, but for some reason when I got accepted I was accepted into just the English major.

“Congratulations!! You have been admitted to the major of English in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences for Fall 2013”

Does your say the same or does it state “Creative Writing” in place of “English?”

@nakedlunch- mine says Creative Writing in place of English. You should call them! It’s probably just an error? They’re the only school in the UC & CSU systems that have a separate creative writing department with it’s own major, as opposed to the standard english major with a creative writing “concentration,” so you definitely want to make sure they’ve got you in the right place bc it’s a whole separate department! If you call admissions they’ll put you in touch with your admissions counselor. Congrats on getting in! :)

I got waitlisted and I don’t have impressive stats or anything. I see a couple of you who exceed me in the academic stats. I don’t understand UCR’s system of admission.

I got accepted around May 1? for Psychology :) I just submitted my housing application a couple days ago and I’m looking for possible roommates since facebook’s ucr roommate survey is filled with freshmen. Anybody choosing Oban, Falkirk, and Glen Mor?

^^^ I’ve heard that all apartments are basically filled up. I apied to glen mor tho. if I don’t get that then ill go to lothian dorms .___.

Where’d you hear that? worried

^^^ my friends that go to UCR…I tried calling housing the other day to ask and it just kept repeating the message to stay on hold and my call will be answered in the order it was received. well, this went on for about 30 minutes before I just hung up the phone. ridiculous but what can you do shrugs

Ummm I’m still pending… It’s a little frustrating

Anyone know the official date they’ll send out decisions?? (For waitlisters)

hey Kboxer408 what was your gpa and major? I’m in the same boat as you… Got waitlisted as transfer.

Anastasiya, my UCR app is pending too (not that I am waiting for them, I SIR’ed to UCSB).
I also have foreign coursework. I think you should call them.

Is there a facebook page?
