All pretty nice. My ex and I lived in fall Kirk. She still is there. Bannock burn is also nice but it’s kind of run down. Light fixtures hung up by chains and such. It’s just really old so yeah. The other are kind of meh. The plaza looks a lot like something you’d see in Florida. Very Cuban looking. Glen moor is also nice and gated but it’s further away from the police station so less eyes on you and your stuff also bannockburn has unlimited electricity and the others have an allowance. Very useful in the summer. And what’s also really cute is they have their own get togethers. Where you meet other students in the neighborhood and play games and get boba for free!
I’m from the bay and got accepted at midnight
Does anyone know how the apartment with the shared kitchen work?
I’m pretty sure if I go UCR I’ll end up living in bannock!
I don’t think this is a bi-monthly thing because people had been posting every few days that they got in.
Bannockburn has its own kitchenette. But I kind of liked bannockburn. It’s got a little cafe attached to it that smells like mildew.
Hey i just created my account i got into ucr on march 1st my major is bus econ, and my gpa is 3.8, but i am worried about my bf he applied for the same major he has completed the same classes as i did but with a 3.2 gpa is his chances high?? and is it a bad sign that he hasn’t received anything yet?
If he applied to somewhere other than UCR I would say his chances are mid to low range. But he’s a bit over qualified for UCR lol I’m kidding obviously. His chances “is” good.
he applied to ucsb, uci and sdsu. what’s making me worry is that he is taking 20 units right now wouldn’t that be like a red flag?
Jesus Christ. Are all 20 necessary for his transfer? Because I’m sure a lot of schools are going to be looking at that and be a bit skeptical given he’s taking 1/3 of his associates in one semester.
well all 20 are part of his IGETC but only one of them is a major requirement
That’s just a lot of school for one semester. Honestly idk how that would effect him but given his Gpa and his ability of finish successfully then he’s good
i hope so how often should he check his account ?
Why did they say transfer decisions will come out March 15 if there are transfer students out there that just got accepted these past days(including yesterday)?
Again, for those who don’t research, most likely the people who got accepted never checked on the first but the actual day they saw their acceptance and posted about it that day. Almost ALL people who said they were accepted were on the first. @nisreenalsabie from the looks of it no one here has heard anything of acceptances recently. But it would be advisable to check atleast once everyday. Maybe they truly are rolling admissions. But from the looks of it the rolling is in batches. Majority came out the 1st and trickled off into the next week. We presume it’s the same again. The 15tth may be another big release date and trickle again. Sounds like a forecast summary .-.
@nisreenalsabie I don’t think it’s a bad sign that he hasn’t heard anything yet, no. I’d say his chances are pretty good, especially considering this year is a good year overall for admissions. Although I’m not sure how competitive bus econ at UCR is, I imagine it might be. Nothing to be done but wait for an answer anyway, though, is there? Congratulations as well
@nisreenalsabie im in the same boat. im taking 21 units right now. Honestly, no one here really knows what UC’s think when they see something like that. Or how the GPA will affect the admissions decisions. There are the essays to consider. his background, and accomplishments. so many variables, but i hope he gets in!
I also received my acceptance letter on March 1 @ 2 am lol (set my alarm clock to find out).

@DannyOcean I think you sir are misinformed. I speak for myself and a few others such as golden cub who are well informed about how the UCs work. Riverside doesn’t even read the essay.UCs, such as riverside, look at pre req completion and GPA. Please be informed before spreading information. Thanks.
