I got accepted into UC riverside business administration major, UC santa barbara pre-econ and accounting major, and cal state fullerton pre-business major. I am having trouble to make my final decision. I know UC santa barbara is the highest ranked school of all three. They also have the best campus of all three. I am not sure how good is their pre-econ and acounting program even though i know it is pretty competitve there. The biggest issue i have is i am really interesting in finance. But UCSB does not offer business administration major. At the same time, i heard many people say that a lot of finance job can be done by earning econ or accounting degree. So it's very hard for me to make decision on UCSB.

For cal state fullerton and UCR, they both offer business administration degree. I heard that both of them have good business program. But most of people i know suggest me to choose CSUF over UCR if i don't choose UCSB.

I really want to hear you guys' opinions.

Hey man I’m in the same exact position as you in all three schools. It’s really wierd how we’re in the exact same position lol but I’m choosing fullerton bc I live so close to it, got no financial aid for the UCs and got into the business honors program at csuf. And I have been doing interviews for the program and it’s really truly amazing, I’ve talked to all the business professionals, CEOs I know and all say that they dot hire for business anywhere else than fullerton, before other cal states and even UCs because its business program is top notch. I am kind of salty about not getting the going away experience or the fun at SB but from everyone I’ve talked to the best opportunities out of all those schools from a business major is cal state fullerton, especially and specifically business honors. Companies hire them before they graduate and then some will even pay up to 80% of you’re MBA from what I’ve seen. But it depends, because the choice would be different for me if I didn’t live so close to it so I don’t have to pay as much and didnt get in to the business honors program. But good look on ur choice!

@matador3 I live not far from both riverside and fullerton. So that’s really not an issue. Unfortunately, i am only a pre-business major at csuf. on the other hand, riverside offers me the business administration major. So this is why i am still not sure. For financial aid, so far, only sb offers me financial aid. That’s also the reason i am still thinking. Luckily, i still have little time to do little bit more research. Thanks for the reply. I am really appreciated.
