<p>I am currently a sophmore interested in the UC San Diego Accrelerated Medical Program. For those of you who have applied/accepted to the program what is your advice to direct me towards such a program. average scores? extracirriculars? etc. </p>

<p>well, I got some data from admit day, apparently, the avg gpa for the admitted "bioENGINEERING: premedical" major is somewhere around 4.24..... scary stuff. But keep in mind that's for engineering.</p>

<p>i don't think the decisions have come out for this yet. it's not so much an accelerated program. you still have to do 4 years of undergraduate studies.</p>
