You definitely have a great chance at UCSD. Your numbers show that you’re qualified and being in state will also help. The lack of EC’s may be concerning, but killer essays could override that. The UC’s are more number focused anyway. Chance back?
Based on your Stats, you look like a competitive applicant. CS is a pretty tough admit so write some great essays and apply widely to a number of schools. Make sure you have a solid safety school on your list and Good Luck.
@willa99 Thanks for the input!
@Gumbymom Good to hear. Do you think UCSB/UCI/UCD would be good safety schools for me?
No, UCI/UCSB and UCD are definitely not safeties since all are still very competitive for CS. They look look like solid Match schools. UCR and possibly UCSC could be considered safeties.
@Gumbymom Okay thanks a lot, and one more question. What do you think my chances are for UCB (L&S CS) and UCLA (probably long shots)?

Note that UCSD CS is highly impacted. Some other comments on these forums indicate that it is extremely difficult to change into if one enrolls as an undeclared student.
@LeReddit this ^^^^. Acceptance rates for UCLA and UCB CS majors are around 10% or less, so although you are a competitive applicant, there are no guarantees. Definitely apply, just have a wide range of schools including some solid Match/safety schools on your list.
