Super early thread, but I am getting anxious waiting for the decision!
Anybody else applying for Bioengineering?
Applied to SD but as an Applied Math major. I can relate, even though it’s still early and the TAU just came out I can hardly wait for decisions either. Since it’s a UCSD thread, just wondering, did anyone get an email from SD yet? Like do we have to go through the process of setting up an account on a portal like for some of the other UCs?

@Bearly I only got the “UC San Diego received your application” e-mail so far.
I haven’t received the setting up account email yet either but the last email I received said to wait until mid January so I’m sure they will start sending them soon
Yeah, I remember last year. SD was annoying,. Two roll-outs really early, pretty much on top of each other, then deafening silence. I mean ear-piercing, bridge-jumping deafening silence. As I recall, they didn’t release again until pretty much April 18 or slightly earlier.
Fasten your seatbelts. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride

I have never been to San Diego, but I am going at the end of January for a medical conference at UCSD itself! Just reading the past threads gave me anxiety. Haha
@liveinthelbc right?? I sift through the past threads around the decision release dates and I can feel the anxiety and stress from the people who were posting at that very time. April is gonna be :-S

How does everyone feel about the record applications (~16,000 for transfers) received by UCSD? Granted UCSD was my second choice, and I no longer qualify for my major. I am qualified for my alternative major however! I should get on updating my grades. ._. It was fun applying though, I never got to do the whole UC procedure before.
