Mine says
"The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu. "
So it changed for me at 7 in the morning
Why would it say that it can’t accept a housing today. /sobs

Well neither of them sound all that positive so it probably doesn’t mean much.
Anyone know what time decisions could POSSIBLY be released?

@TonyStark93 last month they were released around 3:00 or so I think.
I’m gonna crawl into a hole until then.
I looked back in the 2014 UCSD transfer thread, and the portal apparently didn’t shut down before the results were posted. So keep an eye out for an sudden update. However, I’d still give a week for UCSD to release the admissions decisions as they did on the 18th (3rd friday of April 2014) last year.

My housing message changed too.
Mine didn’t change. I looked back at previous years’ threads and some people were accepted without any housing change, so don’t lose all hope yet if yours hasn’t lol.
Just went back to the 2014 thread, the housing message change happened to the 2014 kids too. 2014 students received the “today” message on the 11th last year (2nd friday of April 2014), which was a week before the 18th (3rd Friday of apr2014), when decisions rolled out. That being said, I’m 90% positive we’re getting the decisions on the 17th (3rd friday of april 2015) as we’re getting the “today” message on the 10th (2nd friday of april 2015)
The 17th, so close but so far away…
Now in previous years, when the housing message changed did those students get in?? Or was it still random and the message means nothing?

Alright I’m going to one up the crazy in this thread. I’ve looked through the 2013 decisions thread and found a lot of the posts regarding the housing trick. What I’ve found:
Everyone that I saw who got the new housing message got in, including some low GPAs.
Everyone who didn’t get the housing message that I saw either got waitlisted or rejected. Don’t take this as a 100% rejection, I didn’t check every single post and not every single UCSD applicant goes on this site.
The housing message is exactly the same as last year.
It’d be great if someone else could confirm/deny the trends.
Okay well here’s some “evidence,” I stalked some user profiles to check if some of these guys got accepted or not.
"I found that 100% of people got in that had the housing status change. The only thing that could go wrong is that one person per 2011 and 2012 had their message revert back and they didn’t end up getting in. "
