WL people, how do you know what major you are waitlisted for? seems to me WL is same as undeclared.

My daughter was accepted neuroscience major. She was denied at SDSU nursing today.

Where do you see that?
The # of spots (6,600) is not the acceptance rate. It is just the amount of kids they expect to attend. The yield rate is around 18% so they accepted around 4-5x more kids than the spots they have.

6,600 accepted out of 130,000 applications! Acceptance rate dropped from 34% in 2021 to 5% now. Wow…
