UC San Diego...Ranking the Colleges?

<p>So I posted this thread before but I put it in the wrong section.</p>

<p>I'm stuck on whether to put Warren as my second choice or Marshall. I have read all the threads but no one really talks about Marshall much.I like Marshall but I hear the writing GE's are really bad and I like Warren but I heard its very engineering focused. Does anyone have any insight they can give me about the two like about dorms and GE's!</p>

<p>Also, if i got a 5 on my AP Language and Composition Exam, will that fill any GE requirements?</p>

6. Revelle</p>

<p>Marshall and Warren are very very similar, you can’t go wrong with either… their dorms are almost identical, although I think Marshall’s location is better because it is closer to the beach. Marshall’s dining hall (OVT) is also better. Then again, science majors tend to love Warren for the GEs.</p>

<p>Warren is NOT very engineering focused. You will NOT take any engineering classes in Warren (if you don’t want to of course). Other than that, I would take a look at each college’s GEs and see which you like more.</p>

<p>Marshall and Warren are both good. However, Marshall is closer to the center of campus while Warren is further away.Also, its dining hall is arguably the best one on campus. Honestly, though, just look at the GE’s and decide what sounds best to you.</p>
