IN order to transfer to UCSD on fall 2010 i need Gpa 3.0, 2 english classes and one math class by the end of FALL, or at the beginning of the Fall?

I always thought it was this:

60 UC Transferable units which includes the following seven course pattern:
4 courses (3 semester units minimum for each
course) chosen from at least two of the
following IGETC areas:
Arts & Humanities (Area 3)
Social & Behavioral Sciences (Area 4)
Physical & Biological Sciences (Area 5)
(The 3 courses below are the essential courses)
2 Courses in English Composition:
One course from Area 1A &
Any one course from Area 1B
1 Course in Mathematical Concepts &
Quantitative Reasoning (Area 2)
Minimum GPA of:
a. 2.4 (California Residents)
b. 2.8 (Nonresidents)

By the end of fall for the 2 English classes and the math class

Art that is the minimum to transfer, not the minimum for a TAG.

for winter you need 60 semester units by the end of this summer.

So do you just check the box on the application when the time comes for you to apply, or do you need to talk to your counselor or UCSD’s rep to sign a TAG agreement?

I just talked to my transfer center at my school about this…and they said that all you have to do to tag for UCSD AND UCSB is check the little box. yeahh…oh and have the math and 2 english classees done by fall. So easy! i am tagging for sure for those schools.

oh and a 3.0 but yeah you should probably have that at minimum to transfer to any university… imo.
