UC San Diego, What are my Chances of Getting In?

Hello everyone,

I got rejected from UC Davis, UC Irvine, and SDSU so I’m a little concern about my chances of getting into UCSD with Mechanical Engineering as a transfer

GPA: 3.76
IGETC: Will be finished my Summer 2020
CCC: Imperial Valley College

Prerequisites: Will be done by Spring (Missing Dynamics and Statics but UCSD doesn’t require them although Irvine did as a Major Prep *not a Requirement)

Note: I took one online course(Intro to Java) at Grossmont College but wasn’t able to take more bc of distance, will they count courses that do transfer as prerequisites at this CCC towards their decision? I did briefly mention it in one of my essays

Extracurriculumns: First Math Club President, Job as a Tutor in Physics/Math (not much)

The acceptance rate for UCSD ME was 16% from last year’s decisions. (Out of 443 only 74 got in)

What are my chances of getting in? Thanks in advance!

Did you make sure you added that in your transcript? They will look at everything towards your decision and it’s not part of a series like Physics, Chem, or Bio so you should be fine on this part

Yes I added this to my transcripted, I’m just worried because one class does transfer from Grossmont but I couldn’t take it online, will they still hold me accountable bc i didn’t take it?

Can’t tell you your chances but good luck! ??
