About UCSB housing application: I submitted housing application before May 15th deadline. However, it is still in red status with “your housing contact is NOT complete. You still require a co-signature for a valid contract”. Anyone in similar situation ? Should the housing contact signed when a room in residence hall is assigned ?
Uhhh that’s highly unusual. You sign and complete your contract immediately after applying. This means that your housing contract didn’t go through, and you might not have any housing for the incoming year.
I’d suggest you email UCSB Housing right now and explain your situation.
Similar thing happened with my D23. If you’re under 18 it will request an esignature from a parent/guardian who you specified during the process. They should’ve received an email. Once they sign you should be good to go. I would confirm with the admissions office though that all is set.
